A client was looking a 1960’s-era split level ranch house, and was interested in the possibility of renovating it and giving it a new appearance from the street.
After some rough measurements and a few days of working through options for expansion, we had four options to consider for the renovation.
The owner of this house called on Thursday and wanted drawings early the next week to start demolition and renovation. He is not the average homeowner — he does this work for a living but was under some especially tight schedule constraints for this project.
By Tuesday we had turned around some floor plans and framing plans as well as a 3D model so that the owner can continue with the work. There are still many unanswered questions on this project but this is the new design direction:
